Booking & Deposits

How do I reserve Katz Ice for my event?

Select your estimated event size, choose an available consultation date and time, and submit the required booking deposit. After your deposit is received, you will receive an Event Reservation Form by email.

Is my reservation confirmed after I pay the deposit?

No. Your reservation is confirmed after:

  1. Your booking deposit has been received.
  2. Your Event Reservation Form has been completed.
  3. Katz Ice has reviewed your information.
  4. You receive a final confirmation email from Katz Ice.

Are booking deposits refundable?

Booking deposits are non-refundable. A deposit may be transferred to another available date if the change is approved by Katz Ice.

When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is due seven days before your event. Bookings made within seven days of an event require payment in full at the time of booking.

How much is the booking deposit?

  • Small Event—up to 50 guests: $50
  • Medium Event—51 to 100 guests: $75
  • Large Event—101 or more guests: $100

The deposit is applied toward your final event balance.

 

Event Services

What types of events does Katz Ice serve?

Katz Ice is available for birthdays, graduations, weddings, baby showers, school events, church events, corporate events, family reunions, community events, festivals, and other approved gatherings.

What areas do you serve?

Katz Ice primarily serves Reynoldsburg, Columbus, Pickerington, and nearby Central Ohio communities. Travel fees may apply depending on the event location.

Do you provide cups and spoons?

Yes. Standard disposable cups and spoons are included unless otherwise stated in your final quote.

Can Katz Ice serve the guests?

Serving options depend on the event package, guest count, event duration, and location. Indicate whether you need staffed service on your Event Reservation Form.

Can I order only prepackaged cups?

Yes. Prepackaged water ice may be available for pickup, delivery, or event drop-off, depending on quantity and location.

 

Flavors & Quantities

Which flavors are available?

Flavor availability may include:

  • Cherry
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Mango
  • Blueberry

Available flavors are confirmed before your event and may vary.

How many flavors can I select?

The number of flavors available depends on your guest count, package, and order quantity. Your available selections will be confirmed after Katz Ice reviews your reservation form.

Can I change my flavor choices?

Flavor changes may be accepted if requested before your final order deadline and before supplies have been purchased or prepared.

How many cups should I order?

The recommended quantity depends on your guest count, event duration, age range, and whether other desserts will be served. Katz Ice will help determine the appropriate amount after reviewing your event details.


Setup & Event Requirements

How much space does Katz Ice need?

A level setup area with adequate space for the table, cooler, supplies, and any approved tent setup is required.

Do you need electricity?

Electricity may not be required for every service setup. Your event form asks about electrical access so Katz Ice can determine what equipment is appropriate.

Can Katz Ice set up outdoors?

Yes, weather permitting. Outdoor setups require a safe, level location and sufficient access for unloading equipment.

What happens if it rains?

Outdoor service may be moved indoors, relocated under an approved covered area, or rescheduled according to availability and the booking agreement.

Do you need parking access?

Yes. Reasonably close parking or unloading access is required for equipment, coolers, and supplies. Please provide parking, gate, loading, or access instructions on your reservation form.


Changes & Cancellations

Can I change my event date?

Date changes are subject to availability and must be approved by Katz Ice. One date transfer may be permitted under the booking terms.

Can I change my guest count?

Yes, but changes can affect your package, final price, product quantity, and staffing requirements. Notify Katz Ice as early as possible.

What happens if my event is canceled?

The deposit is non-refundable. Depending on the timing and circumstances, Katz Ice may approve transferring the deposit to another available date.
